Inspired by the extraordinary cultural intersections that emerged from Kansas City, Searching for Charlie Parker traces the overlapping legacies of Charlie Parker, Ben Webster, Big Joe Turner, Burt Bacharach, Walt Disney, and the countless dreamers, innovators, and artists shaped by the city.
Through live performance, improvisation, storytelling, visual elements, and audience participation, the theater becomes a living investigation into how creativity moves across generations.
